Taxation

Our team have over 60 years combined taxation experience and also use the services of an external Tax Consultant for more complex matters.  Our bread and butter is Self Assessment, VAT Returns and Corporation Tax Returns.

Payroll

In the increasingly complex world of payroll and taxation, keeping up to date with the latest legislation, tax rates and declarations are essential.  We can produce your monthly contractor CIS returns, employee payslips, and end of year compliance documents etc.

CIS

We have many years experience of dealing with contractors CIS refunds and claiming relevant and allowable expenses.  Employment status of contractors is essential in order to avoid back dated tax, penalties and other issues.

Book-keeping

With over 60 years combined book-keeping experience you are in safe hands.  Clients can use our FREE simple to use Excel or manual Book-keeping Sheets  or, alternatively we can complete the book-keeping for you.

VAT Returns

VAT is an increasingly complex area of Tax and the consequences of getting it wrong are serious.  Whether it’s Cash Accounting, Invoice Accounting or Flat Rate Scheme, we can deal with it all, allowing you to focus on your business.

Frequently asked questions

Are there any hidden fees?

No there are no hidden fees for the preparation of your Accounts and Tax Returns.  The price we quote is the price you pay either on a monthly or yearly basis.

Please note that for more detailed tax advice, we have an external Tax Consultant who we can pass their details on for as we do not deal with more complex areas of tax such as Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, Stamp Duty or anything outside of simple Accounts and Tax Returns.

Where do I send records to?

For most clients in the South East Of England we can arrange free in person collection of your records.

All records, paperwork and accounts sent by post must be sent by signed for insured, recorded delivery to:-

Are you qualified Accountants?

Chatsworth Accounting Limited practices under the IFA and AAT.

Paul Stock trained at a Chartered Accountants in Wimbledon and quickly rose to Audit Manager.  He passed his ACCA exams (Association Of Chartered Certified Accountants) in the year 2000 and has spent many years running an accountancy firm.  However trades under the IFA and AAT.

Cheryl Stock has over 28 years experience of working in Accountancy Firms.

How do I transfer my accounts to you?

Chatsworth Accounting Limited normally deals with all of the transfer process for you.  You won’t normally need to speak to the previous Accountant.

Most qualified Accountants will send us the working papers and previous information upon request, ensuring a smooth transition.

Do you accept all clients?

Chatsworth Accounting Limited accept most clients, however we reserve the right to decline to act for some industries and clients, which are not in our core area of business.

We will normally let you know after you register as a client, whether we can not act for you.  However 99% of clients we do act for.  We do not provide inhouse taxation advice and outsource this to an external Tax Consultancy who will normally have a separate letter of engagement with you.
